POSTING PRESENTATION: You will play a key role in the SiC Technology volume ramp-up at ST, based in our new mass-production fab in Catania, Italy, dedicated to SiC substrate wafers. This facility is Europe's first of its kind for volume SiC epitaxial substrate production, integrating all production steps. There is a strong collaboration with STMicroelectronics Silicon Carbide AB in Norrköping, Sweden, offering opportunities for on-site training and collaboration. This center has been developing SiC technology for over 20 years. Your main responsibility will be to facilitate the transition from R&D to mass production, focusing on qualifying new measurement equipment and monitoring its performance in the production environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the start-up of the new fab, coordinating equipment installation with suppliers Qualify, accept, and monitor new tools; develop preventive maintenance schedules Monitor tool performance and troubleshoot equipment faults Develop strategies to enhance process and equipment robustness Perform Measurement System Analysis to ensure tool capability Optimize process and equipment performance to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and cycle time Lead the team to meet strategic objectives Profile Required: PhD or Master’s degree in Engineering or related scientific fields Experience in silicon processing is advantageous Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Fluent in English Good communication skills and team-oriented Proactive, committed, and curious This employment opportunity is open to candidates of all genders, in accordance with Law n. 125 and Legislative Decree n. 198/2006, ensuring gender equality at work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
