And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.The AWS transportation team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain/Logistics Coordinator to manage the day-to-day transportation operations for the fastest-growing industries in the world while working on projects to further enhance our operation. This is an exciting opportunity to join an energetic and driven team.An ideal candidate has a background in transportation and excellent data‑driven problem‑resolution skills. They have the ability to work with external partners/influence others, pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize processes, and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. This job will require solid communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.In this role you will:Engage in daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers.Analyze data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform reporting and analysis as needed.Publish performance metrics to assist with driving business results.Quickly and efficiently understand the business impact of observed trends and make decisions based on available data.Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations.Work with multiple stakeholder teams in the Supply Chain to jointly solve problems and implement standards.Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs.Participate in large projects as a contributor or lead small projects independently.This role might be for you if:You are passionate about international transportation and domestic transportation.You enjoy working with data to analyze and report complex data sets to drive optimal business decisions (Excel pivots, SQL basics).You own decisions from inception to implementation.You own continuous improvement efforts using your program‑management skills.Position is Monday‑Friday 1PM to 10PM.About the teamWhy AWS – Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $106,100/year in our highest geographic market.
