Join to apply for the ILS Engineer role at RINARINA is currently recruiting for an ILS Engineer to join its offices in Rome, Naples, Genova, La Spezia and Piacenza within the Aerospace & Defence Division.MissionJoin our team at RINA Consulting S.p.A. as an ILS Engineer: you will play a key role in Integrated Logistics Support discipline, working on projects for leading stakeholders in the Aerospace & Defense industry. You will be part of a team dedicated to achieving excellence and enhancing your skills in this sector.Key AccountabilitiesPrepare and manage Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation, including Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) Records, FMECA reports, Maintenance Plans, and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) assessments.Conduct Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability (RAMT) analyses to support system design, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.Coordinate spare parts provisioning, item codification, and obsolescence management to ensure continuous and efficient system support.Support configuration management activities to maintain alignment between design data, technical documentation, and delivered systems throughout the product lifecycle.Contribute to the development and delivery of training materials and technical manuals, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and full compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.Ensure all logistics and support activities comply with contractual requirements, customer specifications and standards, providing appropriate updates to the customer.EducationBachelor’s DegreeMaster’s Degree in Engineering (General)QualificationsPreferably at least two years of experience in ILS discipline.Knowledge of S-Series specifications (S1000D, S2000M, S3000L, etc.).Knowledge of MIL-STD-1388-2B.Knowledge of RAMT standards.Knowledge of ILS‑related tools and software, such as logistics databases, technical manual editing, and spare parts calculation.Fluent in English.Strong planning, precision, flexibility, teamwork and collaborative spirit.Problem‑solving skills.CompetenciesStructure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraints.Recognise and regulate emotions.Embrace client needs, expectations and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction.Capitalise on experiences and translate them into future action plans.Forge trust relationships, across departments and outside the organization.About RINAWith over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player that provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision, vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
