We are looking for someone who is passionate about: Being upbeat and making work fun while delivering high impact Working with Intelligence Community customers and educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions for them Having a strong understanding of large‑scale computing solutions and prior systems or support engineering experience, and contributing to deep architecture discussions and design exercises It is expected to work from one of the above locations (or customer sites) at least 1+ days a week. This is not a remote position. You are expected to be in the office or with customers as needed. This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience Knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3) Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of IT implementation experience Degree in advanced technology or an AWS Professional level certification Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR Experience and technical expertise in design and implementation of cloud computing technologies Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or prior hands‑on infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
