This is not a remote position. You are expected to be in the office or with customers as needed.This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Basic Qualifications3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experienceKnowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3)Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environmentsCurrent, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with PolygraphPreferred Qualifications5+ years of IT implementation experienceDegree in advanced technology or an AWS Professional level certificationKnowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologiesKnowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPRExperience and technical expertise in design and implementation of cloud computing technologiesExperience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or prior hands‑on infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experienceExperience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environmentsExperience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environmentsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
