Principal Product Engineer (EU) role at Ashby. We’re looking for an ambitious full‑stack engineer focused on solving customer problems and building long‑term solutions. Scope and Responsibilities As a Product Engineer, you: Own and deliver end‑to‑end features, researching competitors, writing product specs, wireframes, and building product changes. Design and build automated interview scheduling to resolve the “Calendar Tetris” problem. Develop a generalized declarative filter architecture used in many user‑facing features. Spec, design, and implement a signing‑off feature integrated across features. What We’re Looking For You’re comfortable with the entire stack. Handled high ambiguity and product‑technical intersections. Balance speed and quality. Ambitious, open to feedback. Collaboration & communication skills. Drive toward abstractions and tooling. Engineering Culture Minimal process with ownership. Natural collaboration and deliberate communication. Invest in tools and abstractions. Commit to diversity and inclusion.
