Employee Relations Manager (12-month FTC), Europe Employee Relations EXR Base location: Italy (flexible). Travel required, up to 50% of the time, including potential travel beyond Italy. Overview The Employee Relations Manager (ERM) is a key role within the EU EXR (Employee Experience and Relations) Field organization, supporting the Country EXR team. This position assists in driving ER activities and initiatives across on the road (OTR) operational business lines within a specific country geography. The primary focus is to support EXR operational excellence, goals, and strategy while addressing the ER needs of the country. The ER Manager works closely with Ops, DSPM and other in-country stakeholders to support the execution of the country-specific ER strategy. This role involves assisting in the implementation of strategies to address country labour relations challenges for business lines. The ERM provides labour relations support by collaborating with operational teams to advance company objectives. Responsibilities Labour Relations Strategy Support the implementation of the EXR strategy Assist in delivering business line-specific goals and key initiatives Identify potential issues and support risk mitigation strategies Monitor internal EXR environment and external operating context Operational Excellence Analyze data to support recommendations and measure strategy success Ensure compliance of EXR decisions and activities Contribute to innovative solutions that challenge current practices Support engagement mechanisms to maintain positive workplace environments Conduct site visits to gather information for ER risk mitigation Contribute to EXR reporting activities Stakeholder Collaboration Build relationships with peers and internal leaders Support project management for initiatives aimed at improving associate and driver experience Contribute to the development of standardized ER solutions Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree and professional experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law Fluency in Italian and English (CEFR C2) Knowledge of Italian labor and employment law Experience in project management within a matrix environment Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Law, Human Resources or related field Experience working with third-party contractor workforces Experience in distribution, logistics and/or transportation industries Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Flexibility and good organizational skills Company Amazon Italia Transport Srl Job ID: A Employment details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Human Resources and Information Technology Industries: Software Development Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
