We are looking forward to your application Tasks Your main tasks include, among others: Sales Management Development and cultivation of sales channels, customer portfolio and customer relations Steering of inside and outside sales reps/teams Identification and exploitation of growth potential Maximization of earnings and yields Responsibility for ongoing monitoring of market trends and competitors as well as initiation of suitable measures for maintaining and expanding market shares Implementation of communications and advertising measures to promote sales Up-date, evaluation and reporting on weekly sales figures and other statistical data Maintenance of customer databases Local implementation of Lufthansa Cargo sales processes and process adaptations Performance of all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors People Management Disciplinary management of the inside and outside sales team Manages, encourages, guides and evaluates the team members Promotes and ensures people\'s development Other Cooperation with local Commercial Manager to develop local market. Requirements The ideal Manager Sales should meet the following requirements: Education and work experience High school diploma/GED required Bachelor\'s degree desirable 3-5 years previous Aircargo industry experience Knowledge of cargo forwarders and cargo customers in Italy Adequate knowledge of Lufthansa Cargo\’s processes and organization.
