Social network you want to login/join with:Manpower Life Sciences for TETHIS SPAWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Molecular Biologist to join Tethis’ team and drive the development of innovative protocols for single-cell molecular analysis utilizing next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and works with state-of-the-art technologies for cfDNA/cfRNA analysis from plasma. This position requires a strong background in molecular biology, a deep understanding of single-cell techniques, and a passion for advancing cutting-edge research methodologies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing experimental workflows and enabling breakthroughs in genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic studies at the single-cell level.Key Responsibilities:Protocol Development:Design, develop, and optimize protocols for single-cell molecular analysis using NGS.Evaluate and implement advanced techniques for sample preparation, library construction, and sequencing tailored to single-cell studies.Develop methods to increase sensitivity, accuracy, and reproducibility of single-cell data generation.Research and Innovation:Stay abreast of the latest advancements in single-cell biology, PCR methods, Lab-on-chip sequencing, and NGS technologies.Conduct feasibility studies to test new methodologies and technologies in single-cell sequencing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into practical applications.Experimental Design and Execution:Plan and execute experiments to validate and refine single-cell protocols.Troubleshoot technical challenges and identify innovative solutions to improve outcomes.Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results.Data Analysis and Interpretation:Collaborate with bioinformatics teams to analyze sequencing data and assess protocol performance.Interpret results to identify strengths and limitations of developed protocols.Provide recommendations for iterative improvements based on data insights.Collaboration and Training:Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of protocols.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for developed protocols.Contribute to scientific publications and grant applications as needed.Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.Candidate Profile:Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genomics, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in single-cell sequencing: protocol development for cfDNA/cfRNA analysis is considered a plus.Passion for innovation and advancing molecular biology research, in the field of DNA, RNA.High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Collaborative mindset and willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams.Key Skills:Proficiency in NGS technologies, including library preparation, sequencing platforms, and quality control.Expertise in single-cell techniques for genomic analysis.Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and pipelines for analyzing single-cell data is highly desirable.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in an innovation-driven research environment.Collaborative mindset and willingness to work in interdisciplinary teamsLocation: MilanContract: Permanent Position, CCNL Chimico Farmaceutico.#J-18808-Ljbffr
