This individual will be the owner of a process/product roadmap and ensuring delivery to the vision of the next generation of AMZL delivery station.This is a unique opportunity at a critical juncture in Amazons growth to drive end to end product delivery from inception to execution. We are looking for a hands‑on leader with experience managing new product and process development for high dollar value programs.To be successful in this role you will need to be able to influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies. You will work with organizations such as Worldwide (WW) Engineering and Design, WW Tech SME, Last Mile Delivery and Tech as well as Operations and Safety to innovate at scale and drive the development roadmap. You will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer to develop the next generation of AMZL delivery station.ResponsibilitiesInitiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Stations.Work closely with partner teams in Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products.Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.Lead execution of the product with high level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams.Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap. Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org.30% travel based on business needs.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field8+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupationExperience developing and designing equipmentExperience managing the lifecycle of cross‑functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systemsExperience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related STEM fieldOperations Management/Distribution Center experience with direct management or responsibility for material handling, automation, or other technical projectsExperience with Six Sigma and/or Lean ManufacturingExperience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet programsExperience with design and/or implementation automation solutions, such as conveyors, sorters, high speed manufacturing and packaging lines, robotic work cellsProven technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or programAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
