Find your future with us.Role OverviewBoeing Global Services (BGS) are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist / Certifying Staff , based in Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome, Italy . The KC-767A Italy Tanker Program supports the Italian Air Force (ltAF) KC-767A fleet located at Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy. This Program is a part of the Government Services of the Boeing Global Services Division. The Site at Pratica di Mare is accredited as AER(EP).P‑145 and is completing the accreditation UNI EN 9110:2018.Position ResponsibilitiesSupport schedule and unscheduled maintenance events as Certifying Staff for both Line and Heavy Maintenance with the responsibility of the airworthiness and the Release to Service of the aircraft.Oversee maintenance tasks execution, verifying compliance with approved data (e.g., AMM, SBs, ADs) and procedures.Manage and accurately complete technical documentation (Task Cards, Pick Up Cards, 8130, EASA Form One) in a timely manner to support the release of the aircraft to the operations on time. And on qualityVerify that required inspections are completed and any identified defects are corrected or properly deferred.Ensure certification of tools, of test equipment and of personnel are current.Execute RII inspections as mandated by the Maintenance ManualsCollaborate to maintain the Quality Assurance Operational Instructions and collaborate with the team to improve methods and procedures by analyzing data to identify root cause of problems.Originate and/or participate in the release of Occurrence Reports as part of the Site Continuous Improvement Process.Execute in‑tank inspections and FOD check.Support internal and external audits to maintain the Site Accreditations.Work under general supervision.Work in rotating shifts, 5 days a week from Monday to Saturday.Preferred Qualifications/Experience and Person SpecificationEASA Part‑66 Aircraft Maintenance License B1/B2 (license on B767 is preferred). Additional experience as Certifying Staff C is a plus.Licenses on Boeing aircraft types is desirable.Minimum of 5 years’ experience on flight line, base maintenance is preferred.Available to be qualified for fuel tank entryUnderstanding of Maintenance Plan Document, Aircraft Service Bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives’ and Service letters.Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical dataFamiliarity with Military Regulations EMAR 145 is a plusExperience with AS9110C Quality Management System would be preferredFamiliarity with Boeing web‑based Information Systems such as: My Boeing Fleet, and a technical inquiry request system is desirable.Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Strong team working and interpersonal skills.Important information regarding this roleThis role is a locally hired position and candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in Italy.
