From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.The Tooling Engineer will support the program on path from R&D, through design validation, into production. You will develop, design, analyze, and implement custom tooling and equipment required for assembling and testing (QTP/ATP) the satellite. You will need to convert the requests from various teams into systems that are easy to use, cost effective, and accurate. In addition, you will be responsible for project management, cost estimate and scheduling. You will manage and support fabrication, testing and commissioning of the tooling into manufacturing.This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you\'ll work with leaders in multiple technology areas. You\'ll have relentlessly high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you\'ll be constantly looking for ways to improve your product\'s performance, quality and cost. The base pay for this position ranges from $86,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
