Responsibilities Advise the business on regulatory and compliance matters related to payments and credit products. Structure, draft and negotiate commercial agreements for domestic and international payment and credit products. Provide ongoing legal counseling on a wide range of commercial, regulatory, and compliance issues in the payments and financial services space. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of legal experience in corporate or in‑house practice. Jurisdiction in or membership in one state bar or equivalent. Knowledge of ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context. Experience in private practice or in‑house technology company. Managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in payments, credit/lending, or financial services. Mix of corporate law firm and in‑house work experience. Experience in web services, cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $131,500.00 – $178,000.00 USD annually. Sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave and other benefits.
