We empower clients with unparalleled expertise to navigate complex political, regulatory, and policy challenges worldwide.Position OverviewWe are expanding our expert network and are actively seeking senior Government Relations Advisors with deep expertise in Italian economic and foreign policy affairs combined with a strong, active, high‑level network inside Italy’s core economic and diplomatic institutions. This is a flexible, project‑based, remote role designed for former senior officials or long‑standing advisors who maintain direct access at decision‑making levels.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic counsel on Italian economic policy, trade policy, industrial strategy, international sanctions, and foreign economic relations.Leverage direct relationships within key economic and diplomatic bodies to deliver intelligence and advocacy support for clients.Conduct rapid, high‑level analysis of legislative and regulatory developments affecting business, investment, trade, and international relations.Support clients on Italy, EU‑Sino economic coordination, G7/G20 positioning, and bilateral economic diplomacy.Collaborate with Oasis Insight’s global experts on cross‑border economic and geopolitical projects.Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years of senior‑level experience in government relations, public affairs, economic diplomacy, or policy consulting with a clear focus on Italy’s economic and foreign‑policy ecosystem.Proven track record of working directly within or as a trusted advisor to core Italian economic/diplomatic institutions, such as:Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri (especially Dipartimento per le Politiche Europee and economic coordination units)Ministero dell’Economia e delle Finanze (MEF)Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale (MAECI)Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy (MIC, formerly MISE)Key agencies and state‑owned entities in the economic/export/investment domain (ICE, SACE, SIMEST, CDP, etc.)Extensive, active, and verifiable network at direttore generale, capo dipartimento, sottosegretario, or ministerial‑cabinet level within the above institutions.In‑depth knowledge of Italy’s economic legislative process, EU‑Italy economic negotiations, trade policy, export‑credit mechanisms, and international sanctions implementation.Outstanding analytical and communication skills in Italian and English (full professional proficiency required); additional languages a plus.Ability to deliver concise, decision‑ready insights under tight deadlines in a fully remote environment.Why Join the Oasis Insight Network?Flexible, high‑level project work with complete schedule autonomy.Direct influence on major economic, trade, and foreign‑policy decisions affecting Italy and Italian stakeholders worldwide.Collaboration with an elite global community of former ministers, central bankers, trade negotiators, and diplomats.Highly attractive project‑based compensation.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typePart‑timeJob functionLegalIndustriesBusiness Consulting and Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
