Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the quality and consistency of food served. Prepare ingredients and dishes following standard recipes. Assist with inventory checks and organization of kitchen supplies. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all food prep and storage areas. Properly use, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment. Help with receiving and storing deliveries. Comply fully with all Department of Health food safety standards. Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed. Qualifications 1 2 years of hands-on cooking experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment. High school reading ability. Solid understanding of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to take direction and continuously improve. Dependable with a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, and move for 6 8 hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Use of hands and arms for food prep and equipment operation. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception. Comfortable working in a moderate to loud kitchen environment. Must be able to work extended hours during peak seasons and holidays.
