At Alstom, innovation is transparent, inclusive, business-minded, open, and collaborative.Explore how we are creating the future of mobility and join our team of enthusiastic professionals as Test & Commissioning Engineer inRome, Firenze, Bari or Bologna.Your roleAs a Test & Commissioning Engineer you will execute test and commissioning activities on field in support to one or several Projects.Main responsibilities Execute testing activities:o   in support to one or several Projects on railway signalling systems under the direction of his / her hierarchyo   according to the testing procedure / documentation and following Subsystem T&C Engineer a/o Leader instructionsEnsure defects identification and correction (trouble shooting)Check that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.Replace defective equipment and ensure its repair in accordance with the procedures in forceIn the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project, and ensure that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test contextDeliver the committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs and Deadlines and in compliance with Alstom policies, local standards, and regulations (EHS and Railway Safety)QualificationsTechnical bachelor's degree in electronics or electricity or equivalent experience in a function in the industrial environmentKnowledge of Linux-bases operating systems (Centos, Redhat, Ubunto)Knowlddge of LAN network (protocols, subnet, Vlan e switch)Virtual machines and environment Previous T&C or Maintenance experience for Railway Signaling Team working/problem solving/networking attitudesAvailable to travelling all around Italy - 90% of the time90% of working time on fieldFlexibility for turn over day/night and weekend when neededYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
