Overview Fluent English and Italian level is required for this role. Solid experience in FMCG Retail relationship Management is required. Build strong partnerships with major retailers to drive growth, reduce competition, launch new products, and collaborate on CSR, supply chain, digital, and upselling initiatives. Engage retailers to strengthen controls, prevent losses, improve audits, reduce misuse, and identify new reuse‑based revenue while minimizing outstanding payments. Work with Supply Chain to optimize returns, improve forecasting, and ensure best pallet‑handling practices. Support the Retailer Service team to improve control ratios, FTR, and cycle times by addressing misuse and losses. Collaborate with S&CS to identify new revenue opportunities. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain senior-level relationships within retail organizations to position CHEP as a trusted partner, ensuring recognition of its full value proposition. Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance customer supply chain performance, leveraging CHEP’s solutions to drive operational efficiency, sustainability, and innovation. Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies, including joint business plans, to address the unique needs and growth opportunities of each retail partner. Monitor key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction, profitability, asset productivity, and service levels, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of account performance. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, finance, and customer service) to ensure the seamless execution of strategic initiatives and effective resolution of customer issues. Lead cross-functional teams and provide guidance to field-based representatives, ensuring alignment with account goals and company objectives. Act as the primary escalation point for complex customer challenges, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and innovations that contribute to improved customer experiences and operational outcomes. 2 -5 years experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain / Logistics management Solid experience in FMCG Retail relationship Management Worked with financial measures and KPIs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to influence retailer customer to control CHEP equipment based on CHEP value proposition Effective time management with ability to deliver results from field with limited supervision Analytical, with the ability solve problems using data. Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrable examples of success Team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
