Company DescriptionSICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.PositionWe are currently looking for a Civil Construction Superintendent based on one of our construction projects in Iraq. The Civil Construction Superintendent will be responsible for the following activities:Follow construction and installation phase.Provide the interface between the work area assigned and the Site/Construction Manager.Lead the related works in the assigned area to complete the given task within the given timeline.Manage the Supervisors and Foremen in his assigned Workfront and evaluate the quality and quantity of resources.Implement project safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives during the construction, installation, commissioning, and startup phase.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Support planning team to develop proper activities schedule and review the construction phases together with the Site/Construction manager.Support the development of MOS where necessary.Endorse and promote the company Health and Safety and Quality plans.Estimate the necessary tools and materials required to perform the work and inform the Site/Construction manager in time.Handle the site mobilization for his assigned work front.Be a mentor and provide technical guidance and monitor the national development of the country where works take place.Coordinate with QaQc personnel to align the quality documentation with the execution progress.Address by priority QaQc and HSE issues and take all necessary actions that may be needed on site level.Provide oversight of contractor's materials.Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plans.Monitor workforce productivity and progress relative to schedule.Monitor environmental compliance and inform the relevant department in case of discrepancies.Follow up the arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment.Provide pre-commissioning/mechanical completion oversight/verification.Supervise the mechanical completion phase and transition to commissioning phase.Provide accurate and timely construction reports depicting progress, safety, issues, and forward plans.Requirements:At least 5 years' experience in a similar position in piping construction projects, Oil & Gas sector.Strong organizational skills.Able to work as a team member.Fluent command of English both verbal and written.Other informationWork Location: IraqAPPLY HERE#J-18808-Ljbffr
