Production Manager Veterinary Medicinal Products and Nutritional SupplementsThe Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production of veterinary medicinal products and nutritional supplements, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves managing manufacturing operations, leading production teams and Engineering & Maintenance functions, and coordinating with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and other functions to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective production.Main Responsibilities:Manage daily manufacturing operations for veterinary pharmaceuticals and nutritional products, ensuring adherence to approved processes and production schedules.Ensure full compliance with GMP, health and safety regulations, and internal quality systems.Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control to support batch release, deviation investigations, CAPA implementation, and audits (internal and external).Oversee manufacturing documentation, including batch records, SOPs, and production reports, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.Plan, manage, and control the manufacturing budget, including personnel costs, maintenance expenses, and capital investments (CapEx).Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, OEE optimization, digitalization) to improve efficiency and control manufacturing costs.Support technology transfer, scale-up, and validation activities for new or improved products.Ensure proper maintenance and qualification of manufacturing equipment and facilities in collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance teams.Background and Experience:University degree in life science, chemistry, or engineering related to pharmaceutical production.Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company at a leadership level.Experience in powder production and tablet manufacturing.Other competencies:Strong leadership and people management skills.Solid understanding of GMP manufacturing systems and quality principles.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionOtherIndustriesPharmaceutical Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
