You’ll support the training and integration of your team and build skills and experience that will turn your job into a careerAs a Graduate Area Manager, you will be:Leading and developing a team of Amazon associatesMaintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, while promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on‑siteDeveloping performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and qualityCollaborating with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectivesPartnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standardsReviewing work forecasts and determining your requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectivesDemonstrating problem‑solving and analytical capabilitiesThis role is based on day shift or night shift, with shift hours approximately from 7 am – 5 pm or 7 pm – 5 am. You will be working shifts from Sunday to Wednesday, or Wednesday to Saturday. The successful candidate will need to have flexibility in accepting day/night shifts. In this position, you’ll lead a team or a process from day one. You will exercise sound judgement, ensuring progress and targets are realistic and achievable. With us, you can have a hand in creating the future of operations and logistics.A day in the lifeYou’ll work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You’ll also monitor and maintain process efficiency. Your days will always include prioritising routine team management and daily operational tasks, alongside other tasks such as individual escalations, process improvement work and wide‑scale operational contingency planning. Working with colleagues in other teams and external partners will help you stay on track to meet customer demands and targets, including analysing data and performance metrics and discussing technical improvements with engineers.The Graduate ProgramThe program is designed to make you feel valued, included and enabled right from the start through building long‑lasting connections with other Graduate Area Managers and your peers. It includes a 11‑week onboarding/training that will develop you to become competent in both soft skill interactions and technical scenarios through an array of virtual and practical learning.
