About the Role Due to international growth, we are now recruiting for a talented Software Quality Assurance Engineer Fulltime: Treviso, Italy. Responsibilities Designing and executing manual and automated test plans for Windows, mobile and web applications, and electronic devices with embedded firmware Performing hands-on laboratory activities, including wiring devices, building test panels, and working with mains-powered electronic devices Collaborating with the international product design teams to define testing parameters Troubleshooting issues and optimizing testing procedures Preparing detailed test reports Ensuring all tests and procedures comply with company standards Qualifications University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Required Skills 7+ years experience in functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Proficiency with test automation tools such as Appium or Cypress. Experience with documentation and project tracking tools, including JIRA and Confluence. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and ability to choose the appropriate testing strategy based on the context. Knowledge of networking protocols and short-range communication protocols (Bluetooth, NFC). Understanding of low-level data representation concepts, including byte ordering, hexadecimal formats, base64 encoding. Professional experience analyzing and testing hardware and software systems. Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and patience. Ability to work in an international environment and collaborate effectively. Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and frameworks. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Team player: share internal and external information when needed, encourage feedback and collaboration for sustainable results. Adapt to new technologies and frameworks as needed. Preferred Skills Knowledge of software and firmware security concepts. Knowledge of the DALI protocol (highly appreciated). Professional testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB). Previous experience testing IoT ecosystems (mobile apps, embedded devices).
