Accountabilities Support and coordination during the bid and project development of the technical design of systems. Definition of the conceptual solution for equipment integration on vehicles. Preparation of system requirements specifications for mechanical systems. Analysis of suppliers’ technical proposals. Checking the technical description of the system. Verification of drawings and documents (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) for installation/integration on board. Checking of FEM analysis reports. Tolerance concept & analysis for equipment integration. Preparation and verification of performance test specifications. Support during system type tests. Support during on‑board integration tests. Design review with clients and suppliers. Required Skills / Knowledge Degree in Mechanical Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in the railway or mechanical industry as a Vehicle Engineer or mechanical integrator. Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schemes, bolted and riveted connections. Basic knowledge of electrics and mechanics. Proficiency with office automation software (Word, Excel, etc.). Proficiency with mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.) and IBM DOORS requirements management tool. Knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation and contribute constructive ideas. Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced, multitasking international environment. Ability to work autonomously and in teams. Availability for short‑term national and international business trips. Desired Skills / Knowledge Ability to manage and plan assigned tasks independently and within a team. Business‑requirements analysis and problem‑solving attitude. Ability to engage with internal functions (customers) and external suppliers, partners. Strong planning and organisational skills. Versatility in learning and a strong desire to stay up‑to‑date with technology and industry best practices. Strong business acumen and technical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attitude to work in an international, multicultural environment. Education / Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background. Languages Good knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory. English language knowledge at least international B2 level.
