Material and Production Planner

Job DescriptionYou will report directly to our Production Planning Manager and you’ll work out of Trieste location.In this role, you will support and improve the supply chain planning and execution process within the business. You will create and maintain a valid master schedule for material and capacity by effectively balancing supply and demand.ResponsibilitiesReview the Master Production Schedule (MPS) relating to production items and evaluate the need for changes based on daily/weekly activity for a full production program, keeping into consideration customer demand and optimize production efficiency.Analyze the demand and supply balance at the product family and master schedule levels, determining out-of-balance conditions, identifying alternatives, and recommending action for approval.Monitor the manufacturing performance against the MPS and the execution of the schedule to evaluate results and assist in the development of future plans.Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to minimize costs while ensuring sufficient supply.Work closely with engineering, production, procurement and demand team to ensure alignment on schedules and material needed.Address production challenges and propose solutions to improve processes and flow.QualificationsExperience in production planning and materials management in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge MRP/ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite integrated AIExperience in Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics, or Manufacturing.WE VALUEBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Team player with a proactive approach to task management.Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.About HoneywellHoneywell International Inc.
