We are entering an exciting new chapter, as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next‑generation computing. By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics—working alongside world‑class experts in a fast‑moving, innovation‑driven environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct proactive business development aligned with the General Industries segment strategy in European countries where increased attention and focus are required.Provide business support, including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the assigned product portfolio.Showcase expertise by ensuring profitable business growth and sustainable deployment of the division’s strategic plan.Ensure the strategies and business plans are aligned with the overall segment strategy to achieve defined targets.Deliver KPI targets for existing products as well as new product launches in collaboration with the Sales & Portfolio functions and ensure their achievement.Oversee the implementation of activities for agreed cross‑country, cross‑segment, and relevant Global Solution Centre initiatives.QualificationsA minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales and/or Business Development, preferably within the Industrial Robotic Automation market.Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives across multiple countries or clusters within a complex, matrixed environment.Solid experience managing a multi‑channel sales approach for standard products and solutions.Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into concrete actions that drive sustainable growth.Demonstrated collaboration skills with experience working effectively across regions, functions, and stakeholders.Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.Company OverviewABB is a leading global robotics company committed to innovation and sustainability.
