Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in providing treatments that help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and enhance overall function.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans tailored to patient needs.Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques.Educate patients on proper techniques and assistive device usage.Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the Physical Therapist.Maintain accurate and compliant records of therapy sessions.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions and treatment sessions.QualificationsEducation: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist AssistantLicensure: Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Missouri.Experience: Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).Work EnvironmentFull-time or PRN (as-needed) role available.Skilled Nursing Facility.Requires adaptability and a team-oriented mindset.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A rewarding role helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.We are an equal opportunity employer.
