Job Summary Analyze market trends in the Food & Beverage sector assess their business impact and define an effective market entry and expansion strategy Identify and prioritize growth verticals such as food packaging and beverage processing Perform portfolio analysis and build a targeted roadmap to prioritize opportunities by revenue and margin potential Manage and grow Key Accounts within the Food & Beverage sector by facilitating internal and external collaboration ensuring full alignment with customer needs Proactively identify and win new Key Accounts while ensuring their sustained development Seek and leverage cross-segment synergies across Life and other business units Enhance internal teams application knowledge in these markets by providing subject-matter guidance customer insights and training Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute vertical-specific strategies and collaterals Represent the company at events exhibitions and conferences relevant to Food & Beverage providing subject-matter expertise Responsibilities Market AnalysisAnalyze Food & Beverage applications to identify growth opportunities Evaluate verticals for resilience regulatory trends and sustainability relevance Monitor competitors and product gaps to support sales and portfolio strategy Shape market segmentation and value propositions Key & Strategic Account ManagementSupport Sales in managing key accounts Provide insights on applications and markets to shape account strategies Lead acquisition of new strategic customers and develop strong business cases Product Portfolio ManagementAdvise Portfolio Leaders on trends applications and competitor positioning Support new product development and business case creation Align pricing and value strategies with Sales and Product teams Sales SupportDeliver targeted training and technical support to enhance sales effectiveness Address capability gaps with tools coaching and tailored materials MarketingCollaborate with Marketing on messaging campaigns and collaterals Promote brand visibility through exhibitions digital content and vertical-specific outreach Training & CommunicationCreate and update training for Food & Beverage topics Act as a technical and market expert for internal stakeholders customers and external audiences (e.g. speaking at conferences webinars customer events) Critical Outputs & Achievement Required Proven vertical strategies leading to measurable revenue and margin growth Strengthened position in Food & Beverage through key account wins and market visibility Established internal competence across teams through regular training and collaboration Trusted subject-matter expert recognized by internal and external stakeholders Education and Experience University degree in Engineering Business or a related technical / commercial field Minimum 5 years of experience in market development product management or technical sales preferably within industrial applications such as vacuum compressors or sustainable technologies Proven track record in managing strategic accounts identifying market opportunities and influencing cross-functional teams Experience in the Food & Beverage industry is required; knowledge of food packaging applications is a strong advantage International business experience and proficiency in English required; additional languages are a plus Travel & Work Arrangements / Requirements Willingness to travel up to 50% across EMEAI Key Competencies Strong leadership and team collaboration skills High commercial and strategic awareness Ability to work across departments and influence without authority Strong analytical and communication skills both written and verbal Confident public speaker trainer and customer-facing communicator Highly self-motivated solution-oriented and adaptable Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus What we Offer Dynamic international working environment Smart Working Policy and flexible working time Equity Grant program Welfare program Internal canteen Ingersoll Rand Inc.
