On The Road Area Manager (OTR), Amazon Now - Egypt Job ID: | Souq.com for E-Commerce LLC Amazon Now operations is looking for an experienced area manager with 3+ years of a strong record of achieving results in Last Mile Operations/ On the Road Operations (OTR). We are looking to hire a manager to join the team that redefines fast delivery, helps us build and run this new service for our customers, & oversees 3P on the road (OTR) operations. When you join Amazon as an Area Manager, you’ll gain experience leading a large and diverse team to make sure your area of the business keeps pace with demand. In this hands‑on role, you’ll learn about the complexity of operations at a global business and what it takes to make everything run seamlessly. While you implement your team’s approach to drive productivity, you’ll also work closely with your colleagues/teams to address challenges, which means no two days will be the same. Key Job Responsibilities Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing Analyze and implement corrective actions to make sure quality, productivity and SLAs are at consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all shifts Manage OTR operations with 3P to drive the weekly, monthly, and quarterly plan in‑line with other stakeholders management. Manage OTR Supervisors to have a standardized daily routine for supervisors managing UTR in each dark store Support and lead a team and handle administrative work alongside building and supporting a strong team culture Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer experience Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes Basic Qualifications 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience 3+ years of employee and performance management experience Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
