Responsibilities To support our client activities which cover the Heater-HPR (High Pressure Regulator) design, development, and testing up to the equipment TRL 6 test on an EM model you will have the following responsibilities : Provide technical knowhow and consultancy in propulsion to project teams responsible for spacecraft development. Enhance support for propulsion subsystem activities utilizing Hall thruster-based propulsion technology and its critical components. Perform propulsion sub-system level analysis to provide inputs to system budgets. Prepare technical documentation to support the propulsion subsystem development, testing, and the associated project reviews Provide support in developing propulsion sub-system and equipment, including design and testing Provide support for supplier management, including requirements management, progress monitoring, and supporting project-related reviews. Identify critical development challenges and assist in their resolution. Regularly report to the Head of Propulsion and Lead Propulsion Engineer. Qualifications Master\'s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Plasma Physics required along with relevant experience; a PhD in a related field is a strong asset Strong background and specific experience in propulsion. Knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transfer principles as they relate to fluid systems. Prior experience in propulsion sub-systems and propulsion equipment development and qualification. Experience with propulsion sub-system level analysis (e.g. gauging, cleanliness, contamination, etc.) and their methodologies Prior experience in propulsion subsystem and equipment testing for R&D and qualification purposes In-depth understanding of relevant technologies for this position Preferential Skills Familiarity with space engineering standards (ECSS, ANSI-AIAA, etc.), including preparation and implementation. Proficiency in fluidic system design. Experience with EcosimPRO and SPIS. Expertise in designing, developing, and validating tools and methods relevant to the field.
