With 22 beloved brands in our portfolio, we are world leader for pasta, the number one choice for ready-made sauces in Europe, leader for bakery products in Italy, and for crispbread across Scandinavia with Wasa.Our success story is written by a passionate team of almost 9,000 dedicated employees across 30 plants and offices worldwide, all united by a shared mission to nourish the future with purpose and passion.Job DescriptionWe are looking the Group Administrative Shared Service Center Director to join the Finance & Administration function.The role reports to the Group Administration Services VP and is based in Parma (Italy).Job PurposeLead the Administrative Shared Service Center for Barilla Legal Entities across multiple geographies, coordinating both internal teams and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) providers at global level. Ensure that all administrative processes comply with local laws, fiscal regulations, and group policies while delivering efficient and standardized services. Drive operational excellence and innovation through data analytics, process reengineering, and the adoption of advanced digital tools, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with the Company’s strategic goals.Key accountabilitiesOversee end-to-end administrative processes—including Invoice to Pay, Order to Cash, General Accounting, and Fiscal Fulfillment—across 29 legal entities and 1 branch in Europe, EEMEA, Americas, and APAC.Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, legal frameworks, and accounting standards, acting as liaison with internal and external stakeholders.Define governance frameworks, standardize processes, and implement scalable, efficient solutions across geographies.Lead a team of direct reports and internal HC and coordinate our BPO service leaders to ensure high service levels and consistent process delivery.Manage contracts and performance of BPO providers, overseeing the annual budget assigned and ensuring SLA/OLA compliance.Continuously monitor KPIs and service performance using digital tools (Power BI, Service Now, Process Mining), driving actionable insights and process improvements.Foster strong partnerships with key Barilla functions (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Digital, Legal, etc.) and external stakeholders (Auditors, Tax Authorities, Consultants) to align on priorities and respond to new regulations or business needs.Promote a strong people management culture focused on capability building, upskilling, and organizational efficiency.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in EconomicsMinimum 7 years of experience managing complex and extended Finance & Administration processesProficiency in English and ItalianHigh digital literacy: expertise in SAP, Power BI, Process Mining, Robotics, and other automation toolsDeep knowledge of international accounting standards, local fiscal regulations, and statutory reportingProven track record in managing outsourced services and vendor contractsStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience leading multicultural and cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a structured and data-driven approachAbility to drive innovation, transformation, and operational excellence across multiple geographies.Additional informationLocation: Parma, ItalyContract: Full-timeAt Barilla, we are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace where diversity in all its forms is valued and embraced.
