In this position you will be involved in every aspect of the software development lifecycle, collaborating with customers and stakeholders—including product managers, operations, fulfillment, category managers, and finance teams—to devise scalable and adaptable designs and implement them to ensure scalability and maintainability. You will work with global external teams, senior software development engineers, and principal engineers to tackle challenging business and design issues. The India Grocery team within India Consumer Technology is dedicated to developing innovative products that capture a significant share of the expansive grocery market in India, ultimately providing customers with top‑tier produce at affordable prices. As an SDE on this team, you will work in a greenfield NAWS environment (EC2, Lambda, Step functions, Hex‑AWS) and have abundant opportunities for advancing your career. This role has a manageable operations workload and carries immense impact, allowing you to enhance customer experiences while fostering growth opportunities for farmers across India. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with customers and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable, maintainable software solutions. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust software platforms that enable diverse business processes. Work with global external teams, senior SDEs, and principal engineers to solve challenging business and design problems. Deliver solutions on time, demonstrating strong teamwork and a proactive approach. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience. Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
