Why This Role Is Right for You As a Technical Product Owner , you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Milan/Rome. Together, we work on reimagining how ISVs onboard and integrate payment services. Responsibilities Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the ISV partner platform in the Nordics region Translate business requirements into technical specifications and a clearly prioritized development backlog Coordinate workstreams across frontend (portal) and backend (SCS services) teams, ensuring seamless integration Drive feature definition for modular platform components (e.g. onboarding flows, authentication layers, partner tools) Make high-level technical trade-offs in collaboration with architecture and tech leads (micro frontends, SCS, etc.) Act as the central liaison between business stakeholders, partner teams, compliance, and developers Ensure product delivery aligns with Nexi’s strategic goals, compliance standards, and partner expectations What Makes You a Great Fit We’re looking for someone eager to make a difference. Here’s what we value: Essential Qualifications Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner in digital/technology-driven environments Solid understanding of modern web architecture (micro frontends, APIs, modular systems) Strong ability to translate business needs into technical deliverables and manage complex backlogs Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders in a matrixed organization Excellent communication skills in English and a strategic, business-driven mindset Bonus Skills Previous exposure to fintech or payment platforms Familiarity with self-contained systems (SCS) architecture Experience in partner/ISV ecosystems and onboarding flows Understanding of compliance and security in a regulated environment Knowledge of Agile at Scale methodologies (e.g. SAFe, LeSS) Even if you don’t check every box, your unique potential and willingness to learn could set you apart.
