Job Description:

For a 4*S hotel part of a national hotel chain in the heart of Milan, we are looking for a Marketing & Communication Manager (Hospitality).

The candidate, reporting directly to the Group Marketing Director and to the General Manager of the Hotel, will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting the Group Marketing Director in defining the new strategy and positioning of the Hotel
  2. Management of the Hotel Budget regarding Marketing activities/initiatives
  3. Organization (planning and coordination) of photo and video shoots, management of sponsorship requests and local partnerships
  4. Updating and managing the website and platforms with new content, photos, videos and promotions
  5. Coordination of content development and editorial plan for Hotel's social channels
  6. Coordination of strategic activities for sponsored social media campaigns
  7. Local press management (e.g., publishing hotel events, managing relationships with local press, sharing initiatives/press releases, event invitations)
  8. Creation of an in-house calendar of events
  9. Enhancement of Marketing & Communication opportunities with Luxury Travel Networks
  10. Define the communication plan and calendar of events for the F&B outlets
  11. Develop, in collaboration with the PR Director, a customized program for national and international journalists, influencers, correspondents and local press
  12. Support the Hotel General Manager in managing relationships with local institutions/organizations to which the Hotel is linked

Requirements:

  1. Previous work experience in hospitality is mandatory
  2. Proven working experience in Marketing & Communication (at least 3/4 years)
  3. Excellent writing and communication skills
  4. Excellent leadership and strong team player
  5. Proven social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  6. Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  7. Knowledge and passion for luxury and hospitality and the most popular social media platforms
  8. Knowledge of luxury travel bloggers and influencers
  9. Positive attitude, attention to detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  10. Fluency in both Italian and English
