Business Development role responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. Aligned with marketing on MDF and with the wider sales organization on specialized opportunities.Responsibilities:Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial directionNegotiation of key tenders and large deals with complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.Optimises results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, on-boarding and other business development initiatives Demonstrates a solid customer engagement strategy including multiple parties and levels that drives successful business outcomesTake solution and service offerings to market including TaaS and ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and executionDrives overall vendor managementCreates customer unique selling propositions that protects Margin integrity and promotes long term value based customer engagementEnable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market shareRelationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the “Trusted Advisor”Develops tailored customer value propositions against clear understanding of customer business requirementsMaintains Full knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line Knowledge Skills and Experience:Good emotional intelligence with strong communication skills, both oral and written5+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing backgroundStrong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling with strategic planning and business case development skills and experienceExperience of working within a matrix structure, self-management, High energy and motivationAble to create and conduct formal presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management, negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, think out of the box, be assertive and drive tasks to completionAble to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and build solid, effective working relationships with others.
Able to use relevant computer system applications at an advanced level.
