In 2020 Italdesign obtained the Top Employers Certification for the sixth consecutive year.StellenbeschreibungItaldesign is looking for an enthusiastic Aerodynamics & Aeroacoustics Performance Engineer who will be employed in the Powertrain Integration Systems Team, part of the Aerodynamics, Air conditioning and Thermal management department of the Italian site of Italdesign. S/He will be responsible to reach the targets of the assigned field of development.ResponsibilitiesAERODYNAMIC TARGET DEFINITION AND VALIDATIONDefinition of the Aerodynamic targets and suitable vehicle contents to reach them;Precise and punctual management reporting on competences perimeter;Team management and coordination to ensure target achievement;Creation of the performance test reports needed to confirm vehicle validation.TESTING PLANPlan the usage of testing objects based on testing plan and depts;Keep the contact with all testing laboratories in order to plan, discuss and organize the different activities;Possibility to discuss the budget and the cost of every tests including deviations;Management and coordination of vehicles preparation in term of needs, contents and timing;Balance, organization and management of testing activities based on short term inputs such as testing results, labs availabilities, vehicle and parts availability, etc.AnforderungsprofilKey requirementsExperience in the main performances related to aerodynamics and aeroacoustics;Specific knowledge in the automotive field;Knowledge of project planning, test plan definition, test execution attendance, result analysis and post-process;Knowledge of the legislation affected performance by competence perimeter (e.g.: WLTP measurements);Recognize modifications who can have a technical impact on aerodynamics and aeroacoustics performances;Suppliers steering activity (both for production parts as well as for technical services needed for sub-contracts);Logistic knowledge for suitable availability of the vehicle/components needed for testing purposes;Performance reporting at various project levels and phases;Negotiation skills;CAD Catia base knowledge for CAD Data consultancy;Reporting attitude for any kind of possible project issue or escalation to the Head of Department.Preferential requirementsStrategic vision and multicultural approach;Team work-oriented, attitude for coordination;Coordination and management skills for testing preparation;Audi Workbench knowledge required is appreciated;Siemens Connect base knowledge for CAD Data consultancy;PAK for aeroacoustics analysis base knowledge.Sonstige InformationenEducation: Master’s degree in Aerodynamics, Aerospace, Aeronautics, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or equivalent.Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
