Application Engineer

International Company, Leader in the Industrial and Automotive sector, is looking for an Application Engineer. International Company, Leader in the Industrial and Automotive sector. Main Accountabilities: Directly engage customers to understand products requirements and identify current products that will meet or exceed the customer performance specifications Support updates for manufacturing or customer changes based on product configurationand release new part numbers utilizing standard engineering workflow process Maintains technical contact with the customer for all project related activities. Schedules and facilitates all customer project related meetings Support the LPE in presentation of customer presentation that relate to the project Supports Sales on commercial presentations at customer sites Plans assigned programs and organizes tasks, resources and costs Assists in quotation activities on product configuration engineering changes Coordinate, document and report testing (internal and external) to support customer programs Supproting establish product specifications for new development products or systems in conjunction with R&D Support customers (internal and external) to resolve technical issues. Develop and maintain internal program reports, such as Timing, Program Status Report, Open Issue Listsand Meeting Minutes Actively support the LPE in the tracking and reporting on program design status, costs, budgets andcapital investments. (Program Financial Status, Steering Committee Presentations, Gate Reviews) Actively monitors the competitive products in the market and their application on our customerproducts. Completes benchmarks on products as assigned Job Requirements: Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Working knowledge of MS Office Background in Industrial/Automotive sector in a similar role
