For further details, we kindly invite you to follow us on Linkedin to stay updated with the latest job opportunities.PositionOur client, an important multinational Group operating in the FMCG, is currently looking for:Ice cream Breakthrough Innovation Laboratory ManagerThe role oversees the efficient execution of projects that transform long-term strategic goals into innovative ice cream products. He/she works closely with key stakeholders, especially Marketing Strategists, to ensure alignment and success.He/She will foster collaboration between the various breakthrough labs and technical/scientific organizations to drive innovation and will support the transition of projects to the technical R&D team, ensuring a smooth handover and ongoing support.Main Task/Activities:Develops new breakthrough products according to Group Long Term Priorities, in full alignment withInnovation Center Head and Marketing StrategistEnsures the timely and efficient execution of all laboratory tests in accordance with the evolution of the legislation, ensuring analytical and interpretative reliability to protect the consumerEnsures laboratory analysis, tests and research in projects, supporting the related decision-making processEnsures analysis of products developed or competitor innovationProvide the sampling required for tastings, consumer analysis, supporting the decision-making processEnsures the full compliance with Group IT System/ToolsCollaborate with Group Technology Subject Matter Experts to pre-asses product technical principlesCollaborate with other S&I Labs and Group Functions to assess and identify most suitable semi-finished products/ingredients/raw materialsOversees the technological evolution of new laboratory equipment and evaluates the advantages related to their use, to propose investmentsIs accountable for managing people assigned, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, competence development and empowermentRecruits, manages, motivates, coaches and develops own teamGuarantees Human Resources professional development, evaluating people and proposing development initiativesRequirementsMS or PhD degree in Food Engineering, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent15 + years of experience in a multinational FMCG companiesStrong skills with MS Office (especially Powerpoint and Excel)English professional proficiency required, any other language is a plusProject ManagementPeople ManagementExcellent relational skills and proactivityAvailability to business tripsLocation: South Piedmont, ItalyOther informationInterested people should send a detailed Curriculum Vitae, with the necessary written consent to holding their personal dataThis company is an equal opportunities employer.
