As part of Starwood Hotels , we’re preparing to unveil Baccarat Hotel Rome — a sanctuary where the timeless refinement of French heritage meets the expressive soul of the Eternal City.
Now, we’re seeking a Pre-Opening General Manager — a visionary who understands that luxury doesn’t need to be stiff and that food and beverage should never be ordinary . This is a leader who brings warmth and personality to sophistication, who knows that the new era of luxury is vibrant, dynamic, and alive with culture .
This General Manager will be the heartbeat of the hotel — a creative force who connects design, dining, and experience into something extraordinary. From curating cultural partnerships to leading a world-class team, this role will shape a property that brings fresh energy to both Rome and the Baccarat brand .

Our Opportunity — Pre-Opening General Manager, Baccarat Hotel Rome
The Pre-Opening General Manager will hold full responsibility for bringing Baccarat Hotel Rome to life — overseeing the journey from concept to daily operation. This is both a strategic and creative leadership role: the chance to shape a landmark that defines modern luxury in the heart of one of the world’s most inspiring cities.
They will work closely with ownership, design teams, and Starwood Hotels leadership to ensure the hotel’s food, beverage, and cultural offerings redefine what luxury feels like — elegant yet energetic, refined yet real.
Proven experience in pre-opening and managing luxury hotels , ideally within Europe (experience in Italy a must).
A visionary leader who embraces creativity and culture as part of modern luxury.
Commercially astute with a proven record of achieving excellence in RevPAR, profitability, and brand reputation.
A genuine appreciation for design, gastronomy, and cultural storytelling.
A confident, charismatic presence — polished yet approachable, with a natural sense of style and humanity.
To lead a Baccarat Hotel is to orchestrate brilliance — to blend legacy with innovation, artistry with business, and elegance with emotion.
