The Technical Support Specialist Automation for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providingexcellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. This position is part of the Customer Care Organization located in Milan and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. You will be a part of the Technical Support Specialists Team and report to the Technical Support Manager responsible for Customer and Field Service Engineers technical support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Providesecond levelsupport by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technicalexpertise and troubleshooting on Automation systems Supportour field team (FSE, FAS) to maintain, install, validatelaboratory systems in the field.You advise theteamin more relevant and criticaltechnical issues ensuring strong customersatisfaction,retention rate and warranty conversion Utilize critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation Ensure the growth of the Field Service Engineers“Technical Know-How”managing the flow of the technical informationbetween the European and BU to the local team Collaborate actively with Sales/Application/Tender Department in order toimprove Customer solutions and routine Verify the operational performance and data quality of systems in order to supply to our overall commercial organization Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects The essential requirements of the job include: Associate degree(prefer technical,biomedical, robotic, automation or related)orat leastsomeequivalent demonstrated experience with fluent in English and Italian verbal and writtenenough to attend and provide trainingsand participate in discussion forums and international meetings. Willing to work different shifts/flexiblehoursas business needs and ability to travel and provide service inwhole countryas well as periodic travel to otherEuropean countriesand overnight travel. Strong leadershipsskills and interpersonal relationship. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Problem solvingand aptitude to proactively identify solutions. Good IT knowledge. Familiar with IT topics: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces. Developcritical mindset supported by DBS tools.
