The Field Automation Application Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providingexcellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. This position is part of the Customer Care Organization located in Milan and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. You will be a part of the Technical Support Specialists Team and report to the Technical Support Manager responsible for Customer and Field Service Engineers Technical Support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Solutions setup: Install and setup Laboratory Automation systems based on customer needs and contract specification, teamworking with LIS and MiddlewareTeam End user Training: deploy onsite user training to teach the customer on the product portfolio under his responsibility. Run training on the job in the startup phase of the project. Remote support: Troubleshoot customer issue and looking for solution following internal standard works. He/She activate a second level support if needed. Supportour field team (FSE, FAS) to maintain, install, validatelaboratory systems in the field.You advise theteamin more relevant and criticaltechnical issues ensuring strong customersatisfaction,retention rate and warranty conversion Utilize critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation Ensure the growth of the Field Service Engineers“Technical Know-How”managing the flow of the technical informationbetween the European and BU to the local team Collaborate actively with Sales/Application/Tender Department in order toimprove Customer solutions and routine Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects The essential requirements of the job include: Degree(preferably technical,biomedical, instrumentation,electrical engineeringor related)orat least2 to 3yearsequivalent demonstrated experience. Willing to work different shifts/flexiblehoursas business needs and ability to travel for at least 80% providing service inwhole countryas well as periodic travel to otherEuropean countriesand overnight travel. Fluent in Italian and English, verbal and writtenenough to attend and provide trainingsand participate in discussion forums and international meetings. Strong leadershipsskills and interpersonal relationship. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Problem solvingand aptitude to proactively identify solutions. Good IT knowledge. Familiar with IT topics: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces. Developcritical mindset supported by DBS tools.
