The role at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics involves providing top-notch customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic equipment and systems in hospital and independent lab settings.

This position falls under the [Location] team and is fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to revolutionize healthcare continuously, one diagnosis at a time.

What you'll do in this role:

  • Offer advanced support by addressing customer problems and technical issues on Automation systems
  • Assist the field team in upkeeping, setting up, and validating lab systems in the field. You guide the team through crucial technical matters to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and warranty conversion
  • Apply critical thinking to promptly resolve instrument repair tasks
  • Foster the knowledge growth of Field Service Engineers by managing technical information flow between European and BU to the local team
  • Engage actively with Sales, Application, and Tender Departments to enhance Customer solutions and practices
  • Assess system performance and data quality to support our overall commercial operations
  • Enhance your project management capabilities within installation projects

The key requirements for this job are:

  • Holder of an Associate degree (technical, biomedical, robotic, automation, or related) or equivalent practical experience, with strong proficiency in both English and Italian (verbal and written) for training sessions and international engagements
  • Willingness to work varied shifts/flexible hours, travel nationwide, occasional travel to other European countries and overnight stays
  • Effective leadership qualities and interpersonal skills

Having previous experience in these areas would be advantageous:

  • Proven problem-solving skills and proactive solution identification ability
  • Solid IT background. Proficient in setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, and interfaces
  • Developed critical mindset backed by DBS tools
