The **_Technical Support Specialist - Immunoassay_**_ _for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible _for _providing excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.

This position is part of the _Customer Care Organization _and will be** fully remote.**

You will be a part of the _Technical Support Specialists Team_ and report to the _Technical Support Manager_ responsible for _Customer and Field Service Engineers technical support._ If you thrive in an amazing and _supporting_ role and want to work to build a world-class Service _Post Sales_ organization—read on.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Become the national SME (Subject Matter Expert) for our Immunoassay product line
- Provide second level support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Immunoassay systems
- Support our field teams (Field Service Engineers and Field Application Specialists) to maintain, install, validate laboratory systems in the field
- Advise the teams in more relevant and critical technical issues ensuring strong customer satisfaction, retention rate and warranty conversion
- Utilize critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation
- Ensure the growth of the Field Service Engineers “Technical Know-How” managing the flow of the technical information between the European and BU to the local team
- Collaborate actively with Sales/Application/Tender Department in order to improve Customer solutions and routine
- Verify the operational performance and data quality of systems in order to supply to our overall commercial organization
- Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- University's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology or Biotechnology
- Some years of hands-on experience on Lab instruments as Researcher, Field Service Engineer or Field Application Specialist: the anatomy of an instruments has for you no secret
- Willing to travel up to 70% of time across Italy providing service in whole country. Some travel to other European countries can occur as well, especially for trainings
- Fluent in English verbal and written enough to attend and provide trainings and participate in discussion forums and international meetings

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Good IT knowledge. Familiar with IT topics: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces
