We are now looking for a Trade Strategy & Operations Specialist to join our team in Milan, Italy.

Ensure proper execution of contracts and the vessels assigned, including documentation process from contract to final invoice and other related documents
Continuously follow up the status of the vessels and operations/tasks assigned.
Timely issuance of shipping documents assigned to operations (i.e., BLs, COO/EUR1/T2L, Official Sanitary certificates, etc.)
Manage relationships with our 3rd party service providers including warehouse/tank operators, freight forwarders & customs- supervision and port agents
Create & update the standard operating procedures according to the latest business requirements and ensure our partners adhere to them
Monitoring and administrating accounts payables and receivables
Bachelor's degree level
~3+ years of relevant work experience
~ Experience in vegetable oil and trading practice (e.g. FOSFA, NOFOTA, GAFTA contracts) is preferred
~ Understanding of charter parties, laytime calculation, and shipping models.
~ Proficient with MS Office
~ Proficient with ERP software
~ Fluent in English, both written and spoken
~ Fluent in Italian, both written and spoken
