Proposal Engineer Service Fire

We will carefully consider your applications and provide reasonable feedback.What you will do:The Fire Service Proposal Engineer will be responsible for issuing proposals and managing customer relationships for service activities, including modernization, expansion, compliance, and safety compliance for assigned customers with active and inactive maintenance contracts. They will provide a thorough understanding of requirements and support the vendor in developing the business opportunity, from the project proposal to the technical and financial evaluation of the solution.How You Will Do It:Proposal development and managementEnsure a quote meets the customer's application and operational needsSite visits and meetings with customers to ensure that needs and solutions are fully understood and analyzed, including proposing the most suitable alternativesProvide support on technical solutions and benefitsPrepare technically accurate and timely, commercially verified quotes for customers, offering the best complete solution (including the procurement scope)Manage estimates for materials, services, and other costs, if applicable, and the proposal strategy in collaboration with the vendorManage the technical and commercial proposal review process in accordance with the DOAManage the handover between the proposal and operations/execution teams after the contract is awardedAttend relevant technical and commercial training courses, as needed, to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as they are released and current regulations and their applicability.What We Look For:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent in a relevant engineering field, preferably mechanical, construction, or process engineeringKnowledge of fire protection solutions for the oil and gas and energy markets, sprinkler systems, and water mist technology; knowledge of foam systems, gas suppression, and fire detection is a plusKnowledge of fire safety standards and regulationsExperience in designing and quoting turnkey supplies is a plusAbility to work under pressure and within multinational organizationsAt least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar roleFluent in Italian and English (speaking, reading, and writing)Mid-to-senior levelOur benefits:We offer a challenging and stimulating position, with great personal freedom and professional responsibility.
