Production and Maintenance Manager - PackagingPosition Snapshot Full time, permanent contractMaster's degree in Engineering, Food Technologies or equivalentAt least 5 years' experience in Operations and Team leadingExperience as Manufacturing Manager / Production Leader / Maintenance ManagerFluent in Italian and EnglishNestlé welcomes people with disabilitiesPosition Summary The role leads and owns the end to end results of all production lines, ensuring that production plan and maintenance plan are fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements, meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental needs.
He/she is the ultimate responsible to develop the autonomy of the shop floor operational teams (production and maintenance teams are direct reports).
A day in the life… Responsible to establish the manufacturing reliability required level to meet the business needs on Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.Lead PS activities necessary to identify the root causes of quality defects, incidents and eliminate losses.Invests time coaching on the floor, monitoring compliance with opening standards and checking the management of the key standard routines;Responsible for budget preparation and adherenceDevelopment of people and performance reviews of the teamsResponsible for monitoring the performance indicators of the pack areaCoach and promote breakdown analysisEnsures availability of maintenance resources to implement and execute maintenance routines, methodologies.Promote maintenance methodologies competencies to eliminate quality defects, safety risk and chronic technical issues.What Will Make You Successful At least 5 years of experience managing people in production linesStrong analytical mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFluent in Italian and EnglishKnowledge of Lean / TPM methodologiesWho We Are, What We Believe In
