MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Merchandise Internship primary purpose is to join the merchandising department and understand the goals and the metrics used in order to drive a complex business in the Region within 4 different markets and 4 different distribution levels.
She/He will work closely with the Demand Planning & Inventory team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Monitor demand versus forecast on a regular basis to identify differences vs plan
Product, stock and assortment analyses to support team optimize availability in stores and online channel
Support on providing input to the Global Supply Planning department in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and best seller
Analyze business performance based on KPIs (forecast accuracy, product mix accuracy etc).Support Demand Planner to update Demand Forecast by reviewing historical sales trends and other demand drivers
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

Mastery of MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel).
Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
Fluent in English – verbally and writtenEducated to university degree level in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising
PERSONAL SKILLS

Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment, meeting work deadlines effectively.
Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to deal with situations where multitasking is frequently required.
Good analytical skills
Good understanding of both branding and performance marketing
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate.
Proactivity and curiosity, can-do attitude.
Team-spirit.Critical approach to the creative evaluation of all communication layouts.Willing to learn
