We are looking for a Europe Logistics Engineer to join our dynamic Europe Logistics team. The Europe Logistics Engineer is responsible for distribution of KONE products to customers, managing an effective transportation and logistics network.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Europe Logistics Engineering professional. This position will be responsible for overseeing the logistical operations of our company in Europe, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials through the supply chain.
Responsibilities and Key Activities: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics operations and network in EuropeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activitiesAnalyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost optimizationDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the supply chainLead and coordinate projects related to logistics engineering, including process redesign and automationLiaise with external partners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, measuring their KPISupport Finance in Budget and Forecast activitiesStay current on industry trends and best practices in logistics engineeringRequirements for the role: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related fieldProven experience in Logistics Engineering, Logistics Analytics, or a similar roleStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-makingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with othersProficiency in supply chain management software and toolsKnowledge of European logistics regulations and practicesEnglish mandatory, any other European language is a plusVery advanced in use of Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPointExpert in definition and customization of QlikSense or any other BI reporting platformThe position is located in Pero (Milan).
