About You:

The Trade Marketing Specialist's objective is to develop and implement B2B and B2C marketing plans aimed at enhancing brand visibility and drive sales growth within the wine trade sector key trade channels and support sales team's activities with distributors and clients to buy and sell EW products. This role involves close collaboration with sales teams, distributors, and key trade partners to ensure effective promotion and placement of our wine products.

Key trade channels: on premise, off premise, e-commerce.

Responsibilities:

STRATEGIC

Help develop short-term and long-term strategic trade marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for our partner's brands as well as maintain a consistent corporate and brand image throughout promotional and educational materials.
Analyze market trends, new products, changing consumer behavior, and competitors' best practices.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Plan and conduct market research to identify new opportunities for education and sales tools.
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps together with the sales team, and generate new ideas that grow product visibility in all channels, gain market share, improve customer experience, and prepare benchmark research.

PRODUCT & EDUCATION

Improve product education solutions to supply the sales team with innovative, informative, and practical tools.
Develop product presentations for the sales team, design, and update content for product announcements.

POINT OF SALE MATERIALS (POSM)

Lead brands' POSM projects (budgeting, sampling, planning, designing, production) by collecting sales team needs, creating and updating a comprehensive catalog, organizing shipments, checking inventory, and developing new POSM in collaboration with producers and external suppliers.

SALES SUPPORT

Work closely with the sales team to ensure trade marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue targets.
Support sales teams in executing their trainings/tastings and providing presentations/videos/print materials, keeping the materials updated (GSM, Shelftalkers, tech sheets, etc.).
Develop incentives and trade activities for the sales team (tailored to SM, i.e., Enomatic, Trolley, Products for partnership, pop-ups).

PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Plan and oversee the execution of promotional activities including print, brands' key visuals, trade events visibility tools, point-of-purchase displays, banners, etc.
Support in creating, sharing, and following the marketing activities calendar throughout the year.
Coordinate with the event department to plan and execute collaborations and pop-up events.

EVENT PARTICIPATION

Attend company's and distributors' portfolio tastings and sales meetings, wine samplings, wine dinners, and other events on behalf of our partner.

CAMPAIGN & BUDGET MANAGEMENT

Campaign Management: Plan and execute trade marketing campaigns, including promotional activities, in-store displays, and trade events.
Budget Management: Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and other trade partners to enhance brand presence and drive sales.

PERFORMANCE TRACKING & REPORTING

Create recap reports or best practices presentations at the end of main projects.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to management and the sales team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably within the wine or beverage industry
Strong understanding of trade marketing principles and strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in data analysis and market research
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools
Experience in the wine industry is a plus
