Are you passionate about driving innovation and shaping the future of Artificial Intelligence? We are seeking a dynamic individual to orchestrate specific frameworks and strategy for Generative AI and Decision AI, advising on industry best approaches and outside-in perspectives to achieve applied-AI value at scale. As a technical lead, you will guide applied-AI projects, collaborate on concept definition, and establish an external network of industry experts to drive the evaluation of our setup. Your creativity will be crucial in designing applied-AI building blocks for reuse and supporting internal mentorship and coaching of applied-AI experts. In your new role you will:Orchestrate specific frameworks and strategy for Generative AI and Decision AIAdvise applied-AI projects on industry best approaches and outside-in perspectives on state-of-art with the goal to achieve applied-AI value at scaleGuide applied-AI projects as technical lead and collaborate to achieve concept definition and proof of conceptEstablish an external network of industry experts and evaluate partnerships (incl. strategic vendors, PDHs, consultants…); with your outside-in view you will drive the evaluation of Infineon setupDesign applied-AI building blocks for reuse (Models, Tools, infrastructure); support and guide introduction of applied-AI pilotsSupport and facilitate internal mentorship and coaching of applied-AI (junior) experts (exchange, peer review, sparring partner); provide vision and inspiration to our AI experts to attract talentsStay updated on AI developments and facilitate knowledge sharing You are best equipped for this task if you have:A degree in Computer Science or Data Science or similar8+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of Data and AI, within the manufacturing / R&D environment and Generative AI applications, preferably with knowledge of semiconductor design and production, digitalization, and artificial intelligenceOutstanding knowledge and experience in Data Science and MLOps in the fields of ML/DL, Generative AIExperience in at least one of the fields: GenAI use for people efficiency (support assistance, etc.), AI ML for process parameter (monitoring, equipment health, etc.), AI ML for quality inspection (reduction of over rejects) or EdgeAI / TinyML (IOT and embedded applications)Demonstrated experience in the area of software and deployment, CI-CD, and ML operations, as well as software/AI qualityStrong expertise in implementing ML/DL in productive environments at scale (manufacturing and R&D)Capability to quickly comprehend complex interrelations, structure them, and motivate others while building networksExcellent communication skills in English and German to communicate effectively across roles and functions In our headquarters in Neubiberg near Munich, more than 6000 employees are working in research & development, several central functions, IT and many more.
