We manage our commercial functions through six main lines of businesses in more than 100 international markets, including:Olefins & PolyolefinsWe are the world's largest producer of polypropylene and polypropylene compounds and a top worldwide producer of polyethylene, ethylene and propylene.
This segment's activities are organized on an integrated value chain platform where we source and procure the feedstocks, convert to olefins and then further convert in polyolefin resins.
The products produced end up in everyday applications, ranging from automobiles, durable goods, plastic detergent, milk bottles and food packaging.Advanced Polymer SolutionsWe deliver innovative solutions through our key material technologies, including: thermoplastic resins, high-performance plastic compounds, size-reduction technology, color concentrates, additive concentrates and a diverse portfolio of engineering composites.
The products produced end up in everyday applications, ranging from automobiles, building and construction, agriculture, consumer goods, electronics and appliances.We are a leading global producer and marketer of propylene oxide and its derivatives including propylene glycol, propylene glycol ethers and butanediol.
We also produce and market products derived from co-products of the propylene oxide process including starting up the largest propylene oxide (PO) and tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA) unit in the world.
We believe our proprietary technologies, product integration and geographic presence provide us with a competitive cost advantage.
The products produced in these processes end up in everyday applications, ranging from household goods, coatings, cosmetics, industrial fluids and fuel additives.RefiningOur refining business refines heavy, high-sulfur crude oil and other crude oils of varied types and sources available on the U.S. Gulf Coast into refined products, including gasoline and distillates.Circular & Low CarbonOur Circular & Low Carbon Solutions organization is passionate about addressing the challenges of plastic waste and climate change.
Our team focuses on addressing challenges in plastic feedstock access and developing scalable technologies to grow our Circulen portfolio of products and circular solutions.
The products produced end up in everyday applications, ranging from consumer goods like bottles and caps to general purpose films and food packaging.
