We are currently seeking new talented individuals to join our Advisory and Commissioning Team.

Job Title: Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor

The Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor is responsible for organizing and coordinating activities for mechanical equipment pre-assembly, and installation until the erection completion.

The main purpose of the role is to oversee the mechanical installation, planning, and organization activities, measure progress and provide the proposal of the recovery plan if needed. The Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor must check the correct execution of mechanical erection of equipment by the provisions of the design of machines and plants, respecting the schedule of the work plan.

The Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor must control the results of the activities performed by the workers in charge of the erection, may be asked to be present during the erection and commissioning phases of the project, and eventually, he may perform sporadic short activities using both hand and powered tools.

The Supervisor must be able to identify potential problems that could affect the normal progress of the following phases of the work and may interface with Danieli technical offices and, in case of significant changes despite what engineered, may prepare and send to technical offices the "as-built" to give them a way to align engineering with what was erected on site.

The Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor will be asked to plan the activities by:

Reviewing the design received by HQ (2D Dwg and 3D model) Organizing the technical documents and drawings received from HQ for sub-contractors Managing the BOQs. The Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor can coordinate directly teams of workers (referring always and exclusively to their foremen) for the proper performance of the activities of assembly and/or technical assistance, or he can only be responsible for technical advice to some construction companies without any responsibility for the operational management of erection personnel. Furthermore, the supervisor will coordinate directly the execution of the non-destructive tests and receive the results.

High School Diploma for Mechanical - Electrical or University degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent Site experience in Industrial Projects Technical knowledge English language (able to generate comprehensive reports) Advisory and Commissioning team supervises and manages every aspect of the plant startup: planning and executing installation works as well as conducting tests and inspections to ensure operational effectiveness.
